Modern Dental Care
In addition to combining modern procedures and techniques with state-of-the-art technology, our professional and knowledgeable team will always communicate openly and honestly with you about all your available options—to ensure that your visit is less stressful and pain-free.
Great Lakes Dental Care continues to be proactive when it comes to embracing and taking advantage of our industry’s newest advances and cutting-edge technology. Our professional family dental office was one of the first in West Michigan to introduce non-surgical periodontal therapy, using the Deka Laser. In addition to using high-quality equipment in all of our procedures, our friendly and caring team will always make your overall health and well being a top priority, which is why we only use x-rays when absolutely necessary to minimize your radiation exposure.

Meet Our Founder, Dr. Dennis Webb.
Dennis Webb, DDS – Founder, Great Lakes Dental Care
After a 12-year failed partnership, I knew I wanted to start a whole new way of practicing dentistry. Deep inside, I knew it would be a team effort, and the centerpiece would be creating an exceptional team of men and women who loved the field of dentistry.
When I founded the practice 34 years ago, I knew my team would be the most crucial part of Great Lakes Dental Care. I embraced them as family, making them part of the decision-making, hiring, and work innovation. We offered top pay and benefits, promoted from within, and allowed mistakes without repercussions as a learning opportunity.
I then invested in the “triple win,” knowing that all decisions based on what’s good for patients and the team would be good for the practice. I vowed never to let profit motivate those decisions.
Other critical factors to our success at Great Lakes Dental Care included:
- Accepting as many insurance programs as we could to ensure that patients from all walks of life had access to quality dental care at an affordable price.
- Leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance care and trim overhead.
- Providing extensive team training to provide a consistent “McDonalds-type” experience, no matter who serves or treats you.
- Providing mentorship and a management structure that allows dentists to be free from daily practice management, allowing them to concentrate on patient care.
- Seeing patients in severe pain the same day and ensuring they are comfortable when they depart.
- Leading by example.
- Having fun at work every day.
What started as three people in 1990 is now a team of 70, serving and supporting our community to create the best possible outcomes for our patients.
